How we work

No surprises — not on the diagnosis, not on the bill

The things patients tell us matter most are the ones that are easiest for a clinic to get right.

Open every day

Sunday to Saturday, 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM. Walk in, or call ahead and we will set aside the time your treatment needs.

Costs explained before we start

You get the options and what each involves before treatment begins, so nothing on the bill is a surprise. Where a cheaper option is reasonable, we will say so.

The option to wait

Not every finding needs treating today. When watching and reviewing is a sound option, we will tell you that rather than book you in.

Your first visit

What happens when you come in

  1. 01

    History

We go through your medical and dental history, and what brought you in.

  2. 02

    Examination

Teeth, gums and soft tissues, with radiographs only where they change what we do.

  3. 03

    Options

A plain explanation of what we found, what each option involves, and what it costs.

  4. 04

    Your decision

You choose — including choosing to wait. Nothing is treated the same day without your say.

Questions

The things people ask us most

More answers, including what to do in an emergency, are on the patient information page.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
We are open every day from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and you are welcome to walk in. Booking ahead means less waiting and lets us set aside enough time for whatever you need, so it is worth a phone call if your problem is not urgent.
How often should I have a check-up?
Every six months suits most people, but it is not a fixed rule. If your gums are healthy and you have had no recent decay, a longer interval may be reasonable; if you are being treated for gum problems or get cavities easily, shorter is safer. We will recommend an interval for you and tell you why.
What happens at a first appointment?
We take your medical and dental history, examine your teeth, gums and soft tissues, and take a radiograph only where it will change what we do. You then get a plain explanation of what we found and the options, including the option to leave it for now. Nothing is treated without discussing it with you first.
I am nervous about the dentist. Can you help?
Yes, and it is one of the commonest reasons people delay care for years. Tell us when you book so we can allow extra time. We will explain each step before it happens and agree a signal for you to stop at any point — and we are happy for a first visit to be nothing more than talking and looking.

Ready to book, or want to ask first?

Send a couple of times that suit you and we will confirm the slot. If something hurts today, say so and we will find you a sooner one.
